Free IELTS Mock Test

Read the instructions carefully

Sit each paper the way you would sit the real one. The timings below are the official ones; everything else is simply what makes a practice attempt worth marking.

  1. 1 Print the paper, or write your answers on a separate sheet — do not type them.
  2. 2 Time yourself strictly and do not pause the clock, even mid-question.
  3. 3 No dictionary, no phone, no notes. Nothing you would not have in the test centre.
  4. 4 For Listening, play each audio part once only. There are no replays in the real test.
  5. 5 Sit Listening, Reading and Writing back to back in one session — that is how the test day runs.
  6. 6 Transfer your answers within the time allowed. Spelling and grammar are marked.

Listening and Reading mark themselves against an answer key. Writing and Speaking do not — they are scored against the band descriptors by a trained examiner, and that is the part a practice paper cannot do for you. Send us your completed attempt and we will mark it and tell you the band you are working at right now.

Tell us where to reach you and we will open WhatsApp so you can send your paper straight over.

We use these details to return your result and to tell you about IELTS batches. No one else gets them.
